Rebecca Sue Johnson, 92, of Jacksonville passed from this life on February 15, 2025. She was born September 15, 1932 in Troy, Tennessee to the late John Hershel and Rebecca Lorene (Finley) Rhodes. Rebecca attended high school in Memphis at Treadwell High. She met and married the late Heber Johnson in 1950 and together they spent the next sixty-four years building a life and a family. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Jacksonville First United Methodist Church where she also served as an Office Angel. She also spent many hours of her time as a volunteer at the hospital, earning a designation as a lifetime volunteer. Becky enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and playing bridge with her friends, but was always happiest spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Rhodes; and great granddaughter, Rebecca Mae Roach.

Those left to carry on her memory are her children, Stephen Johnson (Brian Dahl) of Texas, Elaine Rogers of Jacksonville, Karen Johnson (Sandy Montgomery) of Greers Ferry; granddaughter, Jennifer Roach (Bo) of Salem; great-grandchildren, Alexandra Foreman (Harrison) and Ruger Roach along with many extended family and special friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076, 501-982-2136. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
