Richard Thomas Hayden, 83, of Jacksonville, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. He was born on Friday, September 23, 1938 in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania to the late Henry Ray and Laura Hall Hayden. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Tanya Hogge; and two brothers, Donald and Robert Hayden. Richard was a retired United States Air Force veteran and a truck driver for Affiliated Foods.

Richard is survived by his wife Marie Hayden of Jacksonville, daughter, Tamara (Brett) Swenson of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; brother, Stewart Hayden of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Andrea Hogge, Erica (Wesley) Crushberg, Rachel Hogge, Anthony Swenson and Morgan Swenson; one great-grandchild, Arianna Hogge; and his fur baby, "Prissy".

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be the evening prior, 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 30 ^th , at the funeral home.
