Richard Ludon Moore, 91, of Jacksonville passed away December 25, 2022. He was born August 3, 1931 in Norwalk, California to the late Charles Henry and Albertha (Campbell) Moore. In addition to his parents, Richard was welcomed into Heaven by his brothers, Charles Jr., Jim, Curtis, and Cappy Moore; and sister, Jean Boyd.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an independent roofing contractor that always enjoyed helping people.

Those left to cherish the memories of Richard include his wife for sixty-three years, Norma Moore; children, Lynn and Don Moore; sister, Clara Dunn; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
