Robert Higdon Coleman Jr., 90, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Thursday, March 28, 2024. He was born December 6, 1933 in Laredo, Texas to the late Robert H. Coleman Sr. and Emma Elwell Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a veteran of the United States Air Force with over twenty years of dedicated service. Robert was a faithful member of St. Jude Catholic Church where he spent many years serving in maintenance and as an usher. Mr. Coleman was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Duncan; siblings, Bobbie Manieri, Helen Piazza, and Mary Catherine Roofner.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of more than sixty-seven years, Elaine (Gellings) Coleman; children, Scott Coleman (Edna) of Missouri, Mike Coleman (Patty) of Cabot, Susan Coleman, Lynn Moler (Kent) and Amy Coleman (Chris) all of Jacksonville. Other survivors include twelve grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren along with a host of extended family and dearly loved friends.

Memorial Mass will be 9:30a.m., Monday, April 15, 2024 at St. Jude Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
