Robert David Vowell, 82, passed away on December 6, 2022. He was born the youngest of four siblings on March 6, 1940 in Little Rock, AR to the late Jimmie Epley and Thurl D. Vowell. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mary Sallis Vowell; son, Richard Vowell; sister, Louise Huffman; and brother, Don E. Vowell. He was a gifted pool player, master at backgammon, and owned multiple automobile businesses such as The Purple Key, Economy Sales & Service, and Little Rock Wholesale. He was known as "The King of Cars".

Robert is survived by sons, Robert (Gisela) Vowell Jr and James Vowell; sister, Patsy King of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Jason (Sheri) Vowell, Krystal (Chris) Archer, and Lindsay Vowell; great-grandaughter, Jadelyn Vowell; and trusted partner and wife, Sandi David who was with him till the end.

At Robert's request, there will be no services at this time. Robert wished for his ashes to be spread where he grew up in Philadelphia, Mississippi. His life-long friend, Calvin Osby, will escort his ashes to complete his wishes.
