Samuel Edward Mathews, 68, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away December 19, 2023.  He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 8, 1955, to Wallace and Lois Mathews.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother Lois Mathews, Mankato, Minnesota; his wife Carol (Smith Kutsch), his daughter Rebecca Mathews and son David, Ontario; Carol's daughter, Laura Gentry, several siblings and additional family members.

Memorial service will be 2:30pm Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Henderson United Methodist Church 13000 West Baseline Road Little Rock, AR 72210. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 501-982-2136.
