Scott Wayne Shriver, 61, of Jacksonville, passed away March 17, 2021. He was born April 10, 1959 in Lorain, Ohio to Francis and Gloria Shriver. Scott proudly served his country and retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant.  He was a veteran of the Somalia Conflict. Scott was a firefighter for many years and taught fire science in Pine Bluff.  He enjoyed traveling in his RV along the California coast.  Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Shriver.

He is survived by his spouse, Brigette Shriver; father, Francis Shriver; daughter, Kirstin Gervais; two sons, Kenneth (Monica) Shriver and Kirk (Jennifer) Shriver; eight grandchildren; sisters, Gloria and Alice and brothers, Daniel and Craig.

A memorial service will be held at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California at a later date. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 501-982-2136.
