Obituary

Shane Cochran, 44 of Mayflower, Arkansas passed from this earth on November 22, 2022 and he is now resting peacefully. He was born in Slidell, Louisiana on December 2, 1977, to parents Darrell "Tony" and Cindy Cochran.

He is survived by his Junior High School sweetheart and wife of twenty-one years, Janet (Hughes); daughter, Shyla~jane; son, Samuel Cochran; parents, Darrell and Cindy Cochran; sister, Tanya (John) Dixon; brother Stephen Cochran; and many nieces and nephews whom he was proud of.

Shane was a loving family man who dedicated himself to his adoring wife and children - who were his greatest joy! He was a faithful provider and gave his family enough love to last a lifetime. His trademark was truth and honesty. He was a genuine and pure soul, grateful for every single moment. His love for God was true and his God was faithful to walk with Him always into victory after victory. It was his heart's desire and goal to Love better every day for the rest of his life. He did just that. He encouraged all who knew him to know they could find victory in the same goal with endless hope.

Shane was a fiercely passionate man, an explorer with an adventurous spirit. A lover of freedom and nature. He welcomed all that God offered him with deep gratitude for every single moment, taking nothing for granted. He was invested in lifting up his children to grow and thrive and go be confident in who God designed them to be. They will carry on his legacy and know that they were his heart.

Shane was a skilled and respected professional in drywall repair and painting. His reputation proceeded him as a man of integrity in every area of his life. He was a hard worker who took pride in all of his projects in business and in his home where he gave us all security knowing we could trust him. Most of his encounters in business and community, left people knowing his endless love for his family and doing what was right and doing it well.

He was a loyal friend, an honest man, and a good one to have on your side. He appreciated the simple life and all of the little things. He loved without reservation and saw people for what was in their hearts. His life story is beautiful and has always reflected the grace and evidence of God's hand. He fought his fight well and ended on a high note, making peace in his heart with all. His character and fierce courage will continue to inspire us all to fight to overcome pain to find joy.

Thank you Shane, for being you. We release you to fly high. May our Love always be with you.

You will be greatly missed, and never, ever forgotten.
