Shannon Olivia Martin, 48, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went to Heaven on April 8, 2024.  She was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas on December 18, 1975, to David and Diane Phillips.

Shannon Martin worked as a Claims Liaison for Centene Corporation. Her colleagues describe her as an extremely valued member of their team. She was outstanding at her job and excelled in everything she did. Shannon was an amazing asset, and her loss will be felt by her coworkers.  She studied Health Information Management at Pulaski Technical College and dreamed of making big changes in the health insurance industry. She was incredibly passionate and kind, beloved by her entire family and anyone who knew her. Shannon was known for her quick and witty sense of humor, and her dreams of getting her degree and creating her own business. She enjoyed spending days with her grandchildren and watching her favorite shows with her cat. Shannon was a fiercely loyal friend and an incredibly devoted mother. She was always there when you needed her and gave great advice when prompted. Her loss will be felt as a gaping hole in many people's hearts, but her kindness and dedication will live on through those that loved her. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Stevens; and her son, Myles Dashon Brown.

She is survived by her three children, Priscilla Brown, Paige Martin, and Trey Martin; two grandchildren, Paris and Preston Blackwell; mother and father, Diane and David Philips; brother Daniel Phillips; grandmother, Mary Lou Stevens; aunt Sandra Stevens; and uncle Brian Stevens.
