Sharon Lynn Travis, age 67, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020, just one day shy of her 68 ^th birthday.  She was born April 16, 1952 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Edward W. and Haven McKee Hemphill.  Mrs. Travis was a member of Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville.  She loved reading, planting flowers, her dogs, Lexy and Gretta and enjoyed spending time with her family and Sunday School Class.  Mrs. Travis was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Roy Travis; children, Teri (Michael) Duncan, Traci (Jeromy) Poole, and Clayton (Natalie) Travis; sisters, Janice (Randy) Byrd, Mary (Eddie) Buris, Nancy Hemphill, and Susan (Dennis) Rowland; honorary sister, Linda Jean (Kenny) Anderson; grandchildren, Matt (Ashleigh) Duncan, Taylor (Justin) Willis, Meagan (Max) Carroll, Grant (Ashlin) Parsley, Tyson Poole, Oakley Travis, and Lakelyn Travis; and great-grandchildren, Savvy Ray Carroll and Liam Duncan.
