Sharyn Kay Dean, 76, of Jacksonville passed away September 20, 2023. She was born May 26, 1947 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Michael Nicholas and Opal Louise (Gayer) Figliolo. In addition to her parents, Sharyn was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Figliolo. Sharyn will be missed for her quirky personality and ability to make anyone smile with her witty sense of humor. She was loved by all, especially all of the nursing home staff, and marched to the beat of her own drum.

Those left to cherish the memories of Sharyn include her husband, Stephen Lynn Dean; son, Michael (Susan) Shuford; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family that she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, Sunday, September 24, 2023, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
