Sheryl Dawn Ostrowski, age 81, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away September 21, 2026. She was born on July 27, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Donald and JoAnne Hamilton. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Hamilton.

Sherry married her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard, on April 27, 1973. Together, they raised three children and built a home that was always filled with family and friends. Anyone that walked through her door was fed and cared for. She enjoyed having a house full of her loved ones and made sure everyone felt welcomed and at home. Sherry was always smiling and loved to make people happy. She drew people to her with her loving and caring personality.

Sherry worked in higher education and retired as a registrar for Pike’s Peak Community College on Little Rock Air Force Base. She helped so many of our service members continue their education. She was much more than a registrar to them; she cared for them and went out of her way to make sure they achieved their goals.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Ostrowski; children, Ty (Kristin) Perham, Teri (Steven) Bibb, and Mike (Stacy) Ostrowski; 5 grandchildren, Trent (Infiniti) Perham, Brady (Lauren) Bibb, Bailee (Trent) Bibb-Bogy, Peyton Ostrowski, and Morgan Ostrowski; and 2 great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Bibb and Linley Bibb.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home, located at 1504 N. JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Following the service, the family invites everyone to stay, visit, and share memories together.
