Shirley Ann Woolard Smith, 88, of Sherwood Arkansas passed away March 10, 2025. She was born September 24, 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Clovis and Louise Woolard. Her hobbies included her flowers, beehives, and foreign missions work. She was known to her grandkids as mamaw, nana, and momma Shirley to many that needed a mom. Shirley was proceeded in death by her husband, James Alex Smith, in April 2023 and her only sibling her sister Billie Louise Evans, in May 2023.

Shirley is survived by her three daughters, Pamela (Dwight) Steed, of Sherwood, Jamie (Chris) Mitchell, Huntsville, Alabama and Darlene (Jay) Dickman, Sherwood; grandchildren, Daniel Steed of North Little Rock, Grant Steed of Sherwood, Jamin (Laura) Mitchell of Huntsville, Alabama, Lynsey (Stewart) Dunbar of Birmingham, Alabama, Steven Dickman of Anchorage, Alaska, Kimberly Lett of Jacksonville, and Joshua Dickman of Romance. Other survivors include beloved nieces, Lisa Haddock, Ginger (Chris) Hood, Linda Mayers; 18 great-grandchildren, as well as many other beloved family and members.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be 2:00pm, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at The Ridge Church, 8013 Jacksonville-Cato Road, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service at the church beginning at 1:30pm.
