Simon Russell Hewitt, age 60 of Maumelle, passed away, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at his home. He was born December 18, 1962 in Sheffield, United Kingdom to Russell Keith Hewitt and Barbara Whitley Hewitt. He moved to the United States as an infant. Simon graduated from Arkadelphia High School in in 1980. He attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia where he played on the golf team. Simon enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served his country overseas. He also played on the Air Force Academy Golf Team. Simon was employed for over 25 years as a Sales Representative for the Titleist-Acushnet Corporation. Simon was a member of Maumelle Country Club. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Hewitt in 2010 and his brother, Nick Hewitt in 1986.

He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Alex and Kelsey Hewitt of Nashville, Tennessee; daughter, Laura Hewitt of Little Rock; mother, Barbara Geer of Nashville, Tennessee; sister and brother in law, Michelle and Dick Rolfe of Franklin, Tennessee; two nephews, Richard Rolfe,
Nicholas and his wife, Chandler Grace Rolfe, both of Nashville, Tennessee; stepmother, Debbie Leslie of Orange Beach, Alabama; aunt, Sheila Gee of Manchester, England; fiancé, Shelli Hardman of Maumelle.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday February 27, 2023 at Fellowship Bible Church located 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock, Arkansas with Chuck Monan officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
