Sue Janette DeLao, 84, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away June 9, 2024. She was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas on April 19, 1940 to Coy and Naomi Holt.

After graduation in 1958, Sue traveled to Washington, DC to work with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from 1958 -1960 and recently shared this as one of her favorite achievements. She then started working with South Western Bell Telephone / ATT until her retirement 30+ years later.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents; baby sister, Pat Holt; 1st husband, Bobby Lee Harris and their infant daughter, Judith Ann; her 2nd husband, Henry DeLao; brother, Harry Holt; and her loving friend, Freeway (her cat).

She is survived by her children, Doug (Ronna), Kimberly (Frank), and Becky (Scott); brother, Ross Holt; and sister, Jane Brown. Sue had several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

For those that knew Sue, they also knew of her love for all animals, especially Freeway, Itsy and Cody.

Sue served as a loyal and faithful Jehovah's Witness for 50+ years wherein her friend David Hilliard will officiate her service 10:00 am on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bethel cemetery. Please join us for family and friends visitation, Wednesday, June 12th, 5pm -7pm at the funeral home.

We would like to thank all those who cared for our mother, sister and friend. She was loved and will be dearly missed by many.
