Tammy Kay (Davenport) Shelton, age 61, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away October 2, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 12, 1963 to the late Rayford and Carolyn Davenport.

She was a loving mother, wife, nana, sister, aunt, and friend, an example of warmth and kindness in the lives of all who knew her. She had a loving and caring soul; her love was as bright as a shining star. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest treasures. This position however, was very closely followed by her husband, and her dog-daughter, Abby. Tammy was known for her deep love and dedication to her family, consistently offering care and support to those around her. So as we remember her today, let us carry forward this legacy of love, compassion, and joy.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Debbie and Becky; one granddaughter, Kayla Light; and niece, Savannah Knight.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Shelton; children, Jessica (Mark) Matheny, Tiffany Davenport, David Godley, Amber Nicole, and Jeffery Shelton, Jr.; grandchildren, Max, Cambria, Jayden, McKenzie, Liam, April, Elyssa, Trey, Thomas, and Alanna; and two sisters, Connie (Don) Baldwin and Brenda Davenport.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00PM on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the funeral home.
