Tammy Ranea Owen Gilbert, 61, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away April 30, 2024. She was born in Harris County, Texas on December 20, 1962.

We will remember Tammy for her playfulness, as well as, her occasional endearing stubbornness. Her infectious laugh could light even the darkest of rooms. She was beautiful, kind, funny, talented, smart, funky, and tough all at once. Tammy loved her family, friends, art, and fur babies with an unmatched fierceness. Her grandchildren could not spend a minute with her without her telling us how handsome and beautiful they were. She also encouraged them to be their truest selves, and to love all their individual quirks. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Emanuel Owen; mom, Hazel Owen; and son, Stephen Tremblay.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Gilbert; children, Joseph Tremblay (Miriam Pallares Bahena), Nicholas Tremblay (Donna Flora), and Stevie Vitagliano (Matthew Vitagliano); siblings, Lisa Owen Tennyson (Jerry Tennyson), David Stanley, Tracy Stanley, and Rusty Owen; and grandchildren, Kye, Zachary, Marshall, Jolee, Lorelei, Wyatt, Trever, Rosalie, Alan, and Addeline.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 2:00PM at the funeral home. With a Celebration of Life gathering immediately to follow at a separate location.
