Thomas Arthur Townsend, age 82, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022. He was born on Sunday, August 7, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Charles Arthur Townsend, Jr. and Francis Marie Pope Townsend. Tommy was the founder of Concept Tool & Gage, Inc.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 52 years, Shirley Townsend, a daughter, Cynthia D'Anne; and a sister, Barbara Anne Phillips.

Tommy is survived by his wife of six years, Elizabeth Ann Lee Townsend, his children, Charles William Townsend (Barbie), Thomas Wayne Townsend (Denise) and four bonus children, Joann Clark, John Wise, William Shadell, and April Helms; his siblings, Carolyn Marie Freeman, Jerry Wayne Townsend, 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2022 at Bingham Road Baptist Church with burial at Wood/Pinkerton cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday prior to the funeral.

The family would like to give special thanks to Belinda, Megan and Summer for their care.

Pallbearers are Blake Townsend, Adam Townsend, Nicholas Townsend, Damon Ramsey, Dustin Ramsey, Cody Kennedy, John Wise, and William Shadell.
