James Thomas “Tommy” Hill, 63, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away August 2, 2026. Tommy was born on March 18, 1963, in Abilene, Texas, to the late James Robert and Lillian Virginia (Sisk) Hill.

He is survived by his children, James (Madeline) Hill and Emily Hill; brother, Danny (Susan) Hill; nephews, James (Brittany) Andrew, with their daughter, Elena, and Steven (Ashley) Michael, with their children, Brystol and Savannah; the mother of his children, Kelly Fields; and his faithful companion, his Boston terrier, Bud.

Tommy spent his career working in the allied-health field as an occupational therapist. He got his start working at Easter Seals, where he spread joy by assisting developmentally disabled children. He was an Eagle Scout and loved helping people. He could always be counted on to show up and lend a helping hand in whatever way he could.

Tommy will be remembered for his love of fast and loud cars. His red 1968 Camaro, which he restored in high school with his father and brother, was his pride and joy. He loved watching NASCAR and attending drag races. He was fortunate enough to be able to enjoy his 2023 C8 Corvette before his passing. It can be neither confirmed nor denied whether he ever took it above the speed limit.

Tommy also loved blues guitar and rock music. As with his cars, he preferred his music loud. He enjoyed a wide variety of music, including Alan Jackson, the Beach Boys, Jimi Hendrix, and the Chicks, but his favorite artist was Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Finally, Tommy will be dearly missed for his culinary skills, as he was the family’s go-to catering service. If Tommy was coming to a family gathering, everyone could be sure that there would be plenty of good food. He was the most vocal critic of his own cooking, but that is only because everyone else’s mouth was too full to speak.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Tommy’s cremated remains will be placed at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
