V. Jean Wilhelm, 79, of Bigelow, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2024. She was born on September 18, 1944 in Liberty, Texas to the late Clyde and Viola "Sims" Beasley. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Natalie Newberry.

While her husband, John, was serving in the Air Force, she was a homemaker. Jean was an active volunteer at the children's school and was PTA President. She was a faithful member of the Wye Mountain Baptist Church until her health would not allow her to attend. Jean was a warm and engaging personality who welcomed visitors and loved her family dearly.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, John Wilhelm; children, Arthur (Melissa) Newberry, Jr., Melinda Wilhelm, Denise (Ryan) Golden, John H. Wilhelm, and Krystle (Matt) Teague; and grandchildren, Tommy, Paige, Seth, Emma, Arthur, Lily, Chance, Carter, and Aspen.

A celebration of life will be Saturday February 17, 2024 2:00p.m. at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
