Velma "Lori" Lorraine Youngblood, 76, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. She was born Sunday, August 22, 1948 in Sacramento, California to the late Jim Roy and Claudia (Leary) Tinkle. Lori will always be remembered as a take charge and do things right the first-time kind of person. She wasn't shy about letting you know she was the boss. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Youngblood was preceded by her husband of thirty-eight years, John Henry Youngblood, Sr., in 2011; children, Johnny Allen Youngblood, Dorothey Bratton, John Henry Youngblood Jr. and brother, Jimmy Tinkle.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Chris Dare (Dianne) of Jacksonville, Melissa Dare of North Little Rock, Robert and Kenny Youngblood both of Little Rock; grandchildren, Robyn Zehender, Robert Youngblood Jr., Scott Wilder, Maegan Sullivan (Nick), Mandy Scoggin, Johnny Lynn Burton, Halle Eddings (Weldon), John Youngblood III, Rebekah Dare, Brittany Wilbanks and Chay Bautista (Antonio). Other survivors include twenty-one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Dennis Tinkle (Katy) of Little Rock along with a host of extended family and many friends.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8507 Arkansas Highway 161, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117. Visitation will be Monday, February 17, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
