Vermond Virginia Fisher, 78, of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 6, 2020. She was born in Newport News, Virginia on June 30, 1941 to parents Vernon and Mary Ellis. She was a teacher for Pulaski County Special School until her retirement in 2002.

She was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her two daughters Karen Lynn Fisher and Thedorsia Fisher.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Parnell Fisher; son, Anthony Fisher; grandchildren: Brandon Smith and Tianna Coffee; great-grandchildren: Xavier Deffenbaugh, Jason Smith, Brison Smith, and Xy'ere Coffee; as well as several extended family and friends.
