Vinolya Ann Myers, 45, of Jacksonville tragically passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. She was born in India to parents Arnold and Lidya Koester on April 17, 1975.

Vinolya was a straight A student and went to Pinewood Elementary, Jacksonville High School, and then graduated from Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School in 1995. Vinolya was also the second runner up for the 1996 Miss Arkansas State University-Beebe Pageant.

After high school, she went to study at the University of Beebe, then worked at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, and went back to school at Pulaski Tech. In 2000, she married Keith Myers and later had her two children, Ethan and Ellainna.

More commonly known as Vino to family and friends, she will be remembered for always seeing the glass half full. After beating both breast cancer and leukemia, there's no doubt that she was not only a survivor, but a fighter as well. Just like Vino's favorite flower, the sunflower, she was bright, beautiful, and could make anyone smile. She never met a stranger and was the life of the party wherever she went. You wouldn't have seen Vino without her bold red lipstick, nails done, in a beautiful outfit- even if she was going on a quick errand to the grocery store. Although this may make her sound vain, she couldn't be further from that: she loves her children, family, and friends more than anything and would give the shirt off her back if needed.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her father, Arnold Koester. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Lidya Koester; her son, Ethan Myers; daughter, Ellainna Myers; aunts, Linda and Lovita Joseph; uncle, James Joseph and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 501-982-2136.
