Wanda Lou Morrison, 79, of Jacksonville passed away October 13, 2023. She was born July 15, 1944 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to the late William and Jessie (Romine) Tindall. In addition to her parents, Wanda was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Farris "Dan" Morrison; son, Jesse Morrison; sisters, Sandy Perkins and Minnie Shepherd; and brother, Everett Tindall.

Wanda will be lovingly remembered for her spitfire personality and brutal honesty. She was a very loving woman as long as you didn't get on her bad side. In her spare time, Wanda enjoyed watching the cooking channel, her favorite movie "Dirty Dancing", and her favorite Soap operas, including "All My Children" and "The Young and the Restless". Her day was always made when her grandson, Binki, would cook new dishes for her, or make her favorite deep fried Oreos.

Those left to cherish the memories of Wanda include her six children, Dan Morrison Jr., Ed (Tonya) Morrison, William (Karen) Morrison, Becky Morrison, Wanda (John) Amaya, and Christopher Morrison; daughter-in-laws, Judy and Manuela Morrison; sisters, Sue Runyan and Pauline Snow; grandchildren, DJ, Rhiannon, Lance, John Joe, Stephanie, Tim, Binki, Magen, Porky, Jr., Felicia, McKenzie, CJ, Amber, Jesse Jr., Casie, Stephen, Nancy and Barbara; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and extended family that will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 20, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Wanda will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband following the service, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
