Wilma Lois Albright "Lois", 86, of Jacksonville passed away September 11, 2023. She was born August 26, 1937 in Darnell, Louisiana to the late Wesley and Bell (Wells) Stewart. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, William "Bill" Albright; sisters, Ida Mae Achee and Doris Martinez; and brother, David Stewart.

Lois was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, joining in the early 1960's. She was a devoted Sunday School teacher from children's classes to adults. She and her husband served as sponsors and chaperones for numerous youth trips and activities.

In 1968, when Jacksonville High School opened a new campus, Lois began a 30+ year career for PCSSD as Registrar. In her time at the high school, she shared her love and faith with students showing they were valued and had a purpose. After her retirement, Lois and Bill were blessed to be able to travel the world, seeing God's beautiful creation and spending time with their family and friends.

Those left to cherish the memories of Wilma include her daughters, Tina Albright, Terrie (Brad) Pope, and Tammie (Mike) Mathis, as well as her loved grandson, Clayton Wesley (Haley) Holderfield. Additionally, she will be missed by her sisters, Pat Tucker, Judy Cockerham and Joy Williamson; as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, special friends and trusted caregivers.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Wilma will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband following the service at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
