Woodrow Nix Jr., 44, of Kensett passed away September 25, 2023. He was born October 25, 1978 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Woodrow Nix Sr. and Sarah Ann Decker. Woodrow is preceded in death by his father.

Those left to cherish the memories of Woodrow include his mother, Sarah (Jimmy) Decker; daughter, Amara Nix; sisters, Catherine (Curtis) Harris, Susan Johnson, Sherill Waits, Alice Nix, and Vera Nix; brother, Billy Nix; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts.

A memorial gathering will take place 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.

Your journey on this earth is done

Your fight has come to an end

Now it's time for you to go

And rest your tired head

We may no longer hear your laugh

Nor see your smile bright

We may no longer feel your touch

Nor hold your hand so tight
